The small sensor sticks to the doorframe opposite the unit; it must be placed as close as possible to the main unit and at a distance of up to 1.5 cm. This gap is what detects opening.

SafeDoor was born out of our own personal experiences, women who lived in dorms, rented apartments alone, or found themselves sleeping in a strange room while traveling.
We realized we didn't want another cumbersome "security system." We just wanted the door to keep us safe and let us know if something happens.

Does this work with all types of doors and windows?
Absolutely! SafeDoor is designed to be universal and fit any home.
It is perfectly suited for wood, aluminum, and metal doors, as well as all types of windows, including sliding windows and standard casement windows. All you need is a door or window frame to which the small magnetic sensor can be attached.
A tip for perfect installation: to ensure strong and long-lasting adhesion, it is recommended to install the system on a flat, smooth, and clean surface.
Do you need to drill holes in the wall or the door?
Not at all! SafeDoor installation does not require any drilling, screws, or tools. The kit comes with a strong double-sided adhesive that allows for a sturdy installation in less than 30 seconds. Want to remove the system? No problem at all; the adhesive comes off easily without leaving any marks, residue, or damage to the door frame.
It is the perfect solution for rented apartments, student dorms, and even for taking with you on vacation to hotels.
What if I lose the remote?
That is exactly why every kit includes 2 remotes - one main and one spare as a gift :)
That way, even if one gets lost, you always remain in control. If you would like extra backup, you can also order an additional remote directly from us.
Can I choose an alarm sound?
Yes! The sound toggle button on the remote switches between 3 different sounds: a gentle doorbell chime, medium beeps, and a full 130-decibel siren for immediate deterrence. All you have to do is choose what suits you best depending on the situation :)
How do I replace the battery?
Easily. The main unit runs on 2 standard batteries (AA) included in the package. You replace the batteries in the back cover of the main unit. Before the battery runs out, the unit will trigger a warning in advance so that you have time to replace them.
How long does the battery last?
Up to a year in standby mode. With normal use, around 9 months. The batteries are AA type and included in the package, so you don't need to buy anything extra. Before the battery runs out, you will receive an automatic notification so you will always be prepared.
Is this suitable for student dorms without damaging the walls?
That is exactly why SafeDoor was created. Installation is done using only double-sided tape, with no drilling, no screws, and no damage to the door frame or existing lock. You simply remove it at the end of the year and take it with you to your next apartment. It was designed specifically for dorms and rental apartments :)
How much is 130 decibels?
This is a volume similar to an ambulance siren, and it is the loudest of the three sounds. The full siren is clearly audible inside the house, so you know immediately that the door has been opened. With the remote control, you can switch between 3 sounds: a gentle chime, beeps, or the full siren.
What if I am not satisfied with the product?
