Data Collection Policy - Cookies

Cookie Policy

1. General

The website safegirl.co.il is operated by SafeGirl, a registered business name of Liron Revivo, Licensed Dealer (Osek Murshe) No. 215246364, operating from Ashdod (hereinafter: "the Business").

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on the site, for what purpose, and how you can manage, block, or delete them.

This policy is an integral part of the site's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and all three should be read together. In any case of conflict between this policy and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy shall prevail, except with respect to the list of tools operating on the site in Section 4 below, which shall govern.

The Hebrew version of this policy is written in the feminine form to connect with the brand's primary target audience; the policy applies equally to all genders.

2. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that are saved on the browser or device from which you are browsing.
Alongside them, we use technologies with a similar function, such as pixels, tags, and web beacons. These are snippets of code or tiny images embedded in site pages and in the emails we send.

These technologies make it possible to recognize the browser you are visiting from, save what you added to your shopping cart, remember preferences you have chosen, and know which pages and products were viewed, where you came to the site from, and whether a purchase was completed.

These are not malicious programs or spyware. Cookies do not run code on your device, do not perform actions on their own, and do not allow us to read information saved on the device outside the context of browsing the site.

3. Types of cookies on the site

The cookies on the site are divided into three groups, according to their function:

โ€ขย  Essential cookies: Cookies without which the site cannot function: saving the shopping cart, session management, load balancing, security, and fraud prevention. They are always active because they are part of providing the service you requested; without them, you cannot complete a purchase on the site.

โ€ขย  Performance and analytics cookies: Measuring traffic to the site, identifying the paths users take, detecting malfunctions, and improving the user experience. The information is collected and analyzed in aggregate.

โ€ขย  Marketing and advertising cookies: Tailoring ads to your interests, remarketing to those who visited the site, building target audiences, measuring conversions, and improving our campaigns.

4. Tools operating on the site

We use third-party tools for site operation, measurement, and advertising. These are the tools operating on the site:

โ€ขย  Shopify - The store infrastructure. Responsible for the shopping cart, session management, order completion, and site security.

โ€ข UserWay - An accessibility plugin that allows display and navigation adjustments. It loads on every page and collects basic usage data for its operation.

โ€ข Shopify Collabs - Managing collaborations with content creators and attributing purchases to the referral source.

โ€ข Simprosys Google Shopping Feed - Syncing the product catalog to Google Merchant Center and measuring conversions.

โ€ข Track123 - Tracking the shipment status and displaying it on a dedicated tracking page.

โ€ขย  Google Analytics - Measuring traffic to the site and analyzing how it is used.

โ€ขย  Google Ads - Measuring conversions and displaying tailored ads on the Google Search and Display networks.

โ€ขย  Meta Pixel - Measuring conversions, building target audiences, and displaying ads on Facebook and Instagram.

โ€ขย  TikTok Pixel - Measuring conversions and displaying tailored ads on TikTok.

โ€ข TripleWhale - Analyzing sales data and advertising attribution across channels. To identify returning visits and attribute them to their traffic source, the tool collects device and browser characteristics and a unique identifier stored in the browser. The tool also runs the survey shown after a purchase is completed, and the answers you choose to give in it are collected and stored by the tool.

โ€ขย  Flashy - Managing email newsletters and tracking the opening of messages and clicks within them, as detailed in Section 7.

โ€ข Additional infrastructure services: hCaptcha for protecting forms against automated use, and Google Fonts for loading site fonts. These services receive basic technical data, including IP address.

The advertising and measurement platforms - Google, Meta, TikTok, and TripleWhale - collect information and use it for their own purposes and under their responsibility, in accordance with their Terms of Use and Privacy Policies, and the Business has no control over how they process it. The other suppliers listed above act on behalf of the Business and in accordance with its instructions. It is recommended to review the privacy policy of each of the suppliers.

5. How long are cookies kept

Some cookies are automatically deleted the moment you close your browser. These are session cookies, and they are mainly used to maintain the continuity of browsing and purchasing.

Other cookies are saved on the device for a set period even after closing the browser, in order to identify a returning visitor and save their preferences. The retention period of each cookie is determined by the entity that placed it and varies between tools; you can see the exact retention duration of each cookie in your browser settings, on the page that details the cookies saved for the site.

In any case, the Business does not use cookie and tracking data beyond a period of 24 months, insofar as this is under its control, as stated in Section 8 of the Privacy Policy.

6. Transfer of information from store servers

Alongside the pixels operating in the browser, we also use server-side event transfer interfaces for Meta, Google, and TikTok. Within this framework, event data and personal identifiers - email address, phone number, and name - are sent from the store servers directly to those platforms' servers in a hashed form, for the purpose of measuring conversions and advertising attribution.

Since this transfer is carried out from the server and not from the browser, blocking cookies in the browser does not prevent it. You can manage preferences directly with each of the platforms in your account settings with them, as detailed in Section 8. This action also constitutes a transfer of information outside of Israel, as detailed in Section 11 of the Privacy Policy.

7. Tracking in messages we send

The messages we send by email may include a pixel or unique links, which allow us to know if the message was opened, when, and which links were clicked. We use this to understand which content interests the recipients and to tailor future messages accordingly.

This tracking can be prevented by blocking the automatic loading of images in your email software, and also by unsubscribing from the mailing list using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each message.

8. How to manage, block, and delete

Control over cookies is in your hands. Most browsers allow you to delete existing cookies, block new cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is created. The settings are usually found under "Settings" or "Preferences" in the browser menu, in the privacy category.

Additionally, you can reduce the use of data for advertising purposes directly with the suppliers:

โ€ขย  Google - via the opt-out add-on provided for users at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and in the ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

โ€ขย  Meta - in the privacy and ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

โ€ขย  TikTok - in the privacy settings within the app.

A few things worth knowing before you block cookies: blocking essential cookies may disrupt the site's operation and prevent you from completing a purchase; blocking marketing cookies does not reduce the number of ads shown to you, but makes them less relevant; and deleting cookies from your device does not delete information that was already collected and provided to third parties.

9. Basis for consent

Essential cookies are always active, because without them we cannot provide the service you requested. This is not a matter of consent but a technical requirement for providing the service.

Regarding the other groups - continued browsing on the site, after this disclosure has been brought to your attention, constitutes informed consent to the use described in this policy. The Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, allows giving informed consent expressly or implicitly.

The use the Business makes of cookies and information collected through them is done solely for the purposes listed in Section 6 of the Privacy Policy, and not for any other purpose. Regarding the use made by advertising and measurement platforms for their own purposes - see Section 4 above.

At any time, you are entitled to withdraw your consent and block or delete the cookies, as detailed in Section 8 above.

10. Links to other sites

The site may include links or advertisements leading to sites and services that are not operated by us, and which follow their own cookie policies. We have no control over these sites and are not responsible for how they collect and use information. It is recommended to review the privacy and cookie policy of each site before using it.

11. Updates and contact

We may update this policy from time to time, among other things when a tool is added or an existing tool is removed. The date of the last update is indicated at the end of this document, and it is recommended to review this page from time to time.

For any questions regarding cookies and information collection, and for the purpose of exercising the rights detailed in Section 13 of the Privacy Policy, you can contact us via email at safegirlcoil@gmail.com or by phone and WhatsApp at 055-986-1032.
