Siren + flashlight

130 decibels and a flashing LED flashlight draw attention from everyone around you.

Alert your loved ones

The iPhone automatically dials emergency services (police) and sends an SMS alert to your designated contacts.

Live location sharing

The contacts you've set up receive your location - and a new update whenever you move.

Plus, there's a silent mode

Press Safely's flashlight button 5 times in a row, and your phone calls for help and texts your location to your contacts. No siren, no lights.

Questions and Troubleshooting

On iPhone, a message with your current location is sent first, followed by a new update each time your location changes, that is, when you move. Good to know: location sharing and the emergency call are handled by your phone's built-in emergency system, so they depend on its availability, your device settings, reception and battery.

Make sure the device is charged and turned on, hold the side button until it beeps, and turn your phone's Bluetooth off and on. Bring the device close to the phone and try again.
When you turn Safely on, you'll hear a long tone, and when it connects, a short tone. Make sure Safely hasn't accidentally connected to another phone.

On your iPhone, open Settings and search for โ€œSOSโ€ in the search bar at the top. The screen is called โ€œEmergency SOSโ€ - that is where you enable calling and location sharing.

The siren and flashlight always work, even without internet or reception, because they're built into the device itself. The emergency call also goes through in areas where your carrier has no coverage, because calls to emergency services are routed through any available cellular network.
