Questions and Troubleshooting
On Android, a message with your location is sent and updates automatically every few minutes, even if you're not moving. Good to know: location sharing and the emergency call are handled by your phone's built-in emergency system, so they depend on its availability, your device settings, reception and battery. The system sets the update frequency, and it may vary.
Make sure the device is charged and turned on, hold the side button until it beeps, and turn your phone's Bluetooth off and on. Bring the device close to the phone and try again.
When you turn Safely on, you'll hear a long tone, and when it connects, a short tone. Make sure Safely hasn't accidentally connected to another phone.
Open Settings and search for โSOSโ, โEmergencyโ, or โSafetyโ in the search bar. On Samsung devices, this feature is located under โSafety and emergency > Send SOS messagesโ (and on older models, under โAdvanced featuresโ).

The siren and flashlight always work, even without internet or reception, because they're built into the device itself. The emergency call also goes through in areas where your carrier has no coverage, because calls to emergency services are routed through any available cellular network.
